Assuming the worst? Expect more

If you talk to a Texas DUI lawyer, they may tell you that not all DUI cases end the same way. Sometimes cases are dismissed. Sometimes charges are reduced, and sometimes defendants reach plea agreements. If you want to try to avoid getting the most severe punishment, you have the right to do so, and a Texas DUI lawyer may help explain your options by looking at your case for weaknesses. Weak points in a DUI case come about when the official procedures were improperly followed, like administration of blood alcohol tests, faulty readings, discrepancies in results, and improprieties in other procedures, such as pulling over a vehicle and processing the person charged afterward. If you would like these issues investigated in your case, explain your situation to a Texas DUI lawyer.
